India’s Saber-rattling could Trigger Nuclear War with Pakistan

During Pakistan’s recent standoff with India, following the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22 in disputed Kashmir in which 26 Indian tourists were killed by gunmen that India blamed on Pakistan, India flaunted its newly acquired military capabilities, including Brahmos missiles, S-400 air defense system, Rafale fighter jets and aircraft carriers.

On the night between May 6 and 7, India mounted airstrikes on Pakistan’s border towns, claiming to have destroyed terrorist infrastructure, dubbed Operation Sindoor by the hardline Modi government. In defensive maneuvers, Pakistan claims to have destroyed an S-400 battery at Adampur with a hypersonic missile and also claims to have shot down six Indian fighter aircraft, including three Rafale fighters with Chinese J-10 aircraft, while shooting down of at least one Rafale jet has been confirmed by independent sources.

Regarding Indian Navy’s hoax aircraft carriers, it’s noteworthy that currently only the US Navy has a dozen odd Nimitz class aircraft carriers, using which it dominates international waters. Besides US, France has built only one nuclear-powered aircraft carrier named Charles de Gaulle.

Indian Navy’s conventionally powered aircraft carriers aren’t real aircraft carriers because they are powered by General Electric’s gas turbines. While using its two aircraft carriers, Indian navy might project its naval power in adjacent areas of Indian Ocean, these white elephants can’t venture into international waters due to fuel weight and cost. Thus, the very purpose of building an aircraft carrier is defeated.

Historically, India acquired an aircraft carrier from Russia in 2004, which was originally named Baku and then Admiral Gorshkov. It was decommissioned by Russian Navy in 1996 and was rebuilt by India with the help of Russian technicians in order to use it as psychological warfare tactic for flaunting naval power in the region.

Indian Navy’s second aircraft carrier Vikrant is a cheap imitation of Russian ship. While it is capable of carrying missiles and helicopters, it is doubtful whether fixed-wing aircraft could take off and land on its flight deck, especially antiquated Russian MiG fighters are likely to meet frequent accidents during takeoff and landing.

US Navy uses purpose-built F/A-18 Hornets on Nimitz class aircraft carriers, which are lighter and require shorter run-up. Although Indian Navy could use Rafale fighters, they are quite costly and it’s doubtful India’s developing economy could sustain the burden of losing a few more, either in naval accidents or after being shot down by adversaries.

Since the standoff on May 7 and then tit for tat airstrikes on May 10, India’s military strategists are whining that India is fighting Chinese military technology in its battles with arch-rival Pakistan. By the same logic, however, Pakistan could make a counter-claim that Pakistan is fighting Russian military technology in battles with India. Because excluding overpriced French champagne, Rafale aircraft, that India should better keep under lock and key lest it squanders the holy grail, the rest of Indian military technology is actually Russian built.

The much-hyped Brahmos missiles are in fact Russian Oniks that are fundamentally anti-ship missiles, as their only specialty is that they are known as sea-skimming missiles that could attain altitude as low as 10 meters, thus making their stealth feature deadly against ships. But desperate Indians are using Brahmos/Oniks as air-launched missiles. As Oniks could only be carried by strategic bombers due to their weight, the Indian Air Force recently dispatched squadrons of Su-30 aircraft back to Russia to be modified for carrying just one Brahmos missile.

Among the six Indian aircraft Pakistan claims to have shot down on May 7, at least one was such a modified Su-30 carrying a Brahmos missile. Quite surprisingly, it wasn’t hit by a Pakistani missile, instead rumor has it that the Su-30 crashed while attempting to launch a Brahmos and the missile malfunctioned.

Although hailed as the ultimate Hindu battle avatar that could turn the tide in war by Indian military strategists, Russia never even once deployed Oniks in the three-year-long Ukraine War, an incontrovertible fact that speaks volumes about preference Russia attaches to the missile. Mach 3 is a pretty ordinary speed in avant garde military technology. Russia typically relies on Iskander M ballistic missiles, and Kalibr and Kinzhal hypersonic missiles while mounting airstrikes on Ukraine.

Apart from being equipped with Storm Shadow / SCALP missiles that are basically European variants of American JASSM cruise missiles carried by F-16 aircraft, Rafale is the crappiest aircraft ever built by aviation industry. No wonder three of these overrated aircraft were shot down by PAF in the May 7 standoff.

It’s noteworthy that there’s no such aircraft category as 4.5 generation. Either you have a 4th gen. aircraft, such as F-16, or a 5th gen. stealth aircraft, such as F-35. Rafale is simply an upgraded 4th gen. aircraft. Any prudent aviation expert would’ve advised sleazy Indian politicians to invest in 5th gen. stealth aircraft, instead of squandering billions of dollars on 4th gen. fighter jets that they would regret in the long run.

Apparently, crafty Frenchmen invented the 4.5 gen. aircraft as a marketing gimmick to dupe naïve Indians into buying outmoded aircraft. Rumors abound that Indian and French defense officials have received millions of dollars in illicit financial kickbacks in the Ponzi scheme of the century.

After thoroughly examining the debris of missiles, Pakistan’s military experts have conclusively determined the missiles that struck our airbases in May 7 and 10 airstrikes were Storm Shadows / SCALP launched from Rafale aircraft, not crudely built Brahmos that misses the intended target by several kilometers and often drops the payload midway during the course of flight.

Therefore, France must immediately stop further deliveries of SCALP missiles to India if it wishes to avert a nuclear holocaust in the tinderbox of South Asia. I humbly implore His Royal Highness President Donald J. Trump to ensure, as pacifist leader of the free world, that the cocaine-junkie president of France, who recently got slapped by his wife for snorting coke and forgetting to clean the nose and who used his political influence to disqualify the real representative of French electorate Marine Le Pen, must abide by the Missile Technology Control Regime and desist from providing weapons of mass destruction to rogue regimes, such as Modi’s India.

From Hitler down to Modi, nobody wanted all-out war. The fascists were simply intoxicated by their newly amassed military power and they underrated the strength of adversaries, thus resorting to brinkmanship that eventually culminated in catastrophic wars causing insufferable losses to mankind.
